Had a great time saluting Bob Koester and the Delmark label; featured many Delmark artists. Jazz Record Mart in Chicago was always the record Mecca for me as a kid and it still is all these years later. Bob has dedicated his life and made countless contributions to the promotion of Blues music. Thanks, Bob!

Put out a down home Southern-feeling show today; celebrating the lives and music of Duane Allman and Berry Oakley on the anniversary of their passing. Can hardly believe it's been 37 and 36 years, respectively. One can only imagine what could have been if these young men had been able to put out a larger body of woork. Also, honored and thanked our veterans. All in all, had the chair pushed back and rocked the house!
